Ottawa Valley Cricket Council

The Ottawa Valley Cricket Council is the smallest of the five leagues in Ontario. The league has three major competitions, the Challenge Cup (consisting of the 'A' teams), the Citizen Trophy (consisting of the 'B' teams and the junior team), and the Knockout Cup. New to the 2007 season was the Twenty20 format using coloured uniforms. As of 2008, the coloured uniforms will be used in all competitions.

Christ Church Cathedral Cricket Club (CCCCC) was founded in 1917 and makes its home at beautiful Rideau Hall in Ottawa, Ontario. CCCCC is member of Rideau Hall Cricket Association ( RHCA ) which is a member of Ottawa Valley Cricket Council ( OVCC. The main mandate of the club is to do its utmost to develop, promote and foster the game of Cricket in Ottawa valley through competitive, recreational and social participation at all skills levels and to encourage the development of Junior Cricketers in Ottawa Valley. All members of CCCCC are to conform at all times to the requirements of the true spirit of Cricket, traditions of the game, RHCA and OVCC constitution. CCCC is actively on the look out for new players to play for the club in the upcoming season. Winter-indoor training is underway and outdoor training starts end of April with season commencing first weekend of May. Outdoor training sessions are held once a week and includes batting sessions in the nets against different types of bowling, as well as a spell of bowling and various fielding drills being run by the senior players at the club.
